Punjab CM authorizes four Lahore mega projects

LAHORE – The Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar has authorized the inception of four mega projects in Lahore city within 2021, as reported by news sources.
The cabinet committee for finance has approved a budget of PKR 12 billion to Lahore Development Authority (LDA). The four mega projects, as described by the Director-General Ahmed Aziz Tarar during a briefing, will include Gulab Devi Underpass, Karim Block Flyover, Shahkam Flyover and Sheranwala Flyover. The funds reserved for these projects are 95 crore, 2 billion 20 crore, 3 billion and 86 crore and 4.5 billion respectively. The briefing also mentioned the deposit funds for the Orange Line transit system, estimated to be worth PKR 10 billion.
